Four Seasons Hotel Beirut Sets to Open
Soaring above the citys skyline, the new Four Seasons Hotel opens this December bringing the renowned Four Seasons service to Beirut. The hotel stands above Beiruts Corniche offering 230 terraces adorned by glass-and-steel landmark, and crowned by sky-high rooftop pool lounge. As soon as guests are welcomed to Four Seasons Hotel Beirut, theyll be encouraged to step out and enjoy the sea air, sunset Mediterranean views and the sights and sounds of this cosmopolitan city, says Stefan Simkovics, general manager of the new hotel.

Taj Opens First in South Africa
This December, Taj Hotels Resorts & Palaces will open Taj Cape Town, its first in South Africa. This new landmark will offer the signature Indian hospitality and luxury accommodation within South Africa's thriving cultural and tourism capital. The hotel encompasses two buildings of historic significance: The Temple Chambers, also known as the Board of Executors, which was built in 1890, and the South African Reserve Bank building. These buildings house 20 heritage luxury rooms with mountain views and an additional 10 rooms overlooking the city.

The Ritz Unveils Newest Hotel at lake Tahoe
The Ritz-Carlton Highlands, Lake Tahoe will open its doors this December 2009. The $300 million resort development is the first new-build resort development in Lake Tahoe in decades. The resort sits slopeside in close proximity to both Lake Tahoe and Truckee, and will include a 17,000 sq.ft. spa and fitness center, hotel with 170 guest rooms, 23 private Ritz-Carlton residences, and 25 Ritz-Carlton Destination Club fractional ownership residences. |
