  Responsibilities :
  • Coordinates with the Executive Chef regarding the day-to-day operations of the Japanese kitchen
  • Reviews and develops the menu and selection
  • Supervises and checks all quality of food prepared in the kitchen
  • Maintains the cleanliness, proper cooking, and right portion of slicing meat, seafood and vegetable in the assigned area

Qualifications :
 
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with Japanese cuisine
 
  • Knowledge of Japanese snacks, light meals and grills
 
  • Experienced working in an upscale property with strong leadership and communication skills
 
  • Excels in effective application of creative skills and strives for perfection
 
  • Ability to train and willingness to share knowledge to team members
  • Must have excellent communication skills in Japanese and English
