MABUHAY to one and all, and welcome again to the Philippines for the SEAC Golf Tournament 2008!
We are already on the sixth edition and 10th year anniversary of this very popular tournament. I am happy to note that the event’s popularity only seems to be growing from tournament to tournament in such a fast pace that we are, unfortunately, sometimes forced to reject interested players, especially newcomers.
We have become the international chefs’ golf tournament that attracts chefs and golf players from all corners of the world—from as far as Trinidad & Tobago, the USA, Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia and Fiji Islands. With over 20 participating countries from around the globe, we have truly become an international event.
And thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, this year’s tournament is sure to become yet another success story.
This time around, we are challenging two courses that we have not yet played in the past: at the Splendido Taal Residential Estate Golf and Country Club, and The Orchard Golf and Country Club’s Arnold Palmer Course, where, many years ago, the Johnny Walker Classic was held.
Of course, apart from the 36 challenging holes of golf and the superb wining and dinning throughout, we also have other exciting programmed events, including our delicious and always lively dinner parties in between golf days, and our highly entertaining awards night and show that promises to again be filled with prizes, surprises and fun.
On this 10th year anniversary of the SEAC Golf Tournament, we will accomplish 10 different gold courses played during the tournaments. And there are still many more new golf courses to be challenged in the next SEACs to come.
MARAMING SALAMAT to all of you for making this possible and successful. ENJOY!.
